What is CCX Degrease and Go?
Degrease and Go is a C6, concentrated, water-based heavy-duty degreaser designed for oils, grease, carbonaceous residues and routine mechanical-maintenance contamination.
How can it be used?
Depending on the surface and level of contamination, it can be applied for agitation, wiping or rinsing. The surface should be cool, and the approved product instructions should be followed.
What materials is it suitable for?
When prepared and used as directed, it is intended for a range of suitable alloys, painted surfaces, composites, plastics and rubber. Unfamiliar materials and coatings should always be tested first.
Can it be used on hot engines or components?
No. It should be used on cool components and must not be applied to hot exhaust, turbocharger or other high-temperature surfaces.
Is Degrease and Go a brake cleaner?
No. It must not be applied to brake pads, shoes or other friction linings and should not be presented as a brake friction-surface cleaner.
Can it be sprayed onto electrical components?
It should not be sprayed directly into connectors, electronic assemblies, open air intakes or anywhere that liquid ingress could cause damage.
Does it rinse cleanly?
It is designed with clean-rinsing characteristics to help avoid streaking and water spotting. Released contamination and used cleaning solution must still be properly recovered and disposed of.
